Paint Sales Business

We propose special paints that are optimal for each automotive and motorcycle manufacturer. After mass production starts, we carefully manage the inventory of each paint based on the customer’s production plan. We contribute to stable production by preventing quality degradation due to supply delays and excess inventory. We also offer a wide variety of painting-related products, including painting devices, masking, and abrasives, enabling us to propose and provide all materials related to painting work sites.

Technical Support

The strength of Uchigen’s paint and painting solutions lies in our ability to develop the paints that customers are trying to achieve through teamwork from the design stage. Experienced color engineers interview our customers about their design concepts and work with paint manufacturers to create the "ideal color" while making repeated fine adjustments.

Pretreatment process
We manage pretreatment points and PHs and provide appropriate advice and technical support.
Electrodeposition process
We strictly check control items such as nonvolatile content (pigment concentration), pH (potential of hydrogen), and solvent amount of paint in a tank.
Appropriate advice and technical support is given as needed.
Sealer process
We interview customers about seasonal viscosity control and on-site workability on the line.
We report the situation to the manufacturer and provide feedback to the line.
Floor lining PVC process
Similar to sealers, we interview customers about seasonal viscosity control and on-site workability on the line.
We then provide technical support in cooperation with manufacturers.
Intermediate and topcoat process
We provide technical support such as seasonal temperature control, thinner change, and viscosity control.

Paint is a "semi-finished product" that is completed only when it is properly applied. Even when using the same paint, the finish can vary slightly due to differences in painting conditions such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, and time between processes. At Uchigen, our sales staff act as "color engineers" with extensive knowledge of and experience with paints, working closely with customers to help them realize their ideal painting needs. We can meet all kinds of needs, such as approval of new colors involving technical terms, launching new lines, changing paint conditions after mass production starts, and addressing any issues in the unlikely event of a problem.

With our in-house paint mixing factory, we offer timely delivery of optimal paint

One of the reasons Uchigen can provide support that sets us apart from regular trading companies is the presence of our own paint manufacturing factories (Color Centers) in two locations: Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture and Fukuroi City, Shizuoka Prefecture. By connecting customers with paint manufacturers and directly incorporating their requests into the manufacturing process, we achieve high color mixing accuracy. We also respond to sudden production plan fluctuations with a flexible manufacturing system.
