FRP waterproofing

A waterproof paint film made by combining unsaturated polyester resin with reinforcing materials such as glass fiber.

  • It is hard, so it is not suitable for large areas or moving bases

Urethane paint film waterproofing

Paint film waterproofing made by applying liquid urethane resin (two-component or one-component type) with a metal trowel

  • Flexible and effective on moving bases
  • Even small areas take at least 3 days

PVC sheet waterproof

Sheet waterproofing is formed by fixing a polyvinyl chloride resin sheet with adhesive or steel plates and fusing the joints together
Characteristics
  • The construction period is often shorter than that of urethane waterproofing
  • We can use the insulation and adhesion methods
  • It looks better than the paint film waterproofing
  • Workability is poor in the case of complex shapes

We recommend the mechanically fixed pre-cast UD method (insulation method), which is less susceptible to effects from the base and requires minimal base preparation.

Polymer cement-based paint film waterproofing

A simple waterproofing material that solidifies with water, made from a mixture of emulsion resin and cement powder.
Characteristics
  • It is low cost and offers short construction time, ideal for temporary waterproofing when removing existing waterproofing layers.
  • It is suitable for simple waterproofing of small eaves and roof coping, and can also be coated with paint.
  • Environmentally friendly because it is water-based
  • Low durability and conformability, so it is not suitable for walking on

When repainting my house, should I also repaint my verandas?

If the exterior wall needs to be repainted, the waterproofing of the veranda is often degraded as well. First, it is necessary to check the condition and determine what type of specifications are best for construction. However, in the case of waterproofing, the treatment of "repainting beautifully" is often not enough. Let us give you advice from an expert perspective.

Can you do the waterproofing work on the veranda alone?

Yes we can. If you have a normal two story house, we can climb up to the veranda using a ladder, so it is possible to do construction only on your verandas. In some cases, we may need to set up a scaffold, so please contact us. If there is no urgent situation such as a rain water leak, we can reduce the extra cost by doing work together when repainting your exterior walls.

There is a rain water leak in our office. I think the roof is broken. Can you take a look?

If a rain water leak has already occurred, you will need a solid diagnosis of where the rain water is coming from, but it is often difficult to reliably identify the cause of the leak. Do you offer a warranty?

We provide our own warranty. However, depending on the conditions there are cases where we cannot provide a warranty, and it is necessary to verify that the leak is coming from the area where the work was done, so we may have to deal with each case on an individual basis. How many days does the construction process take?

Construction details and construction scope will vary, so we will provide an estimate after checking the status on-site. If it is something like a veranda on a house, we have specifications that can be completed in one day.

If there are no rain water leaks at present, do you need to do construction work?

If there is already a rain water leak, it is too late. Even if the degradation of existing waterproofing is not directly linked to rain water leaks, it is possible that the building itself has been damaged. Once visible deterioration occurs, such as rain water leaks, peeling of the exterior wall paint film, swelling, and corrosion of the siding boards and base, it will cost more to fix.
