First of all, I would like to thank you in advance for doing business with Uchigen Co., Ltd.

Uchigen Co., Ltd. is a technology trading company aiming to be a "global solution provider" that handles everything related to manufacturing. Since Uchigen was founded in 1933 as a paint specialist trading company, we have developed along with the musical instrument, motorcycle, and automotive industries that have flourished in the western region of Shizuoka Prefecture, while maintaining the stance of responding to customers with proposals that exceed their expectations. These days, based on our core business of paint and painting solutions, we combine our extensive network as a global trading company, our production site knowledge of paint and painting, and cutting-edge robotics technology. Furthermore, we are developing businesses that solve a wide range of customer problems and contribute to the development of society at large, through synergy with group companies such as NA Co., Ltd., which has the development and manufacturing technology for sensors essential to robotics, and Seibido Tosoten Co., Ltd., a professional in painting work and waterproofing work.

In recent years, Japanese manufacturing is facing a variety of challenges. There are too many issues to mention, including, within Japan, the decline in the consumer and working population due to the shrinking birthrate and aging population, while globally, there are soaring energy prices and geopolitical concerns about the supply of resources, and, as challenges for all of humanity, the realization of carbon neutrality and the SDGs.
Through proposals for water-based and baked paints with low environmental impact, provision of paint technology solutions that meet customer challenges, and the development of automation devices that promote labor saving and efficiency improvement, we will work together to create a company that can provide the new value required by global manufacturers.

In 2023, we celebrated the 90th anniversary of the founding of Uchigen. Over the course of our history, the environment surrounding our company and the scope of our business have changed significantly, but we have not changed our approach to proposal-based sales working closely with our customers, which we have maintained since our founding. We are now on our way to our 100th anniversary, which is a major milestone, but we look forward to continuing our partnership with our customers and stakeholders, and maintain Uchigen's stance as a company that continues to grow and change with our customers through proactive proposals.
